Little Bear

If you want a solid cattle feeder with a roof, the Little Bear is the obvious choice. This model comes as standard with church chairs on all sides, and is available with trap gates, roof and much more. It is also suitable for feeding round bales and mini big bales, making it flexible for everyday use.

Standard Equipment
There is standard equipment – and then there is JYFA standard equipment! With a JYFA animal feeder, you get a product that radiates quality right from the start! This model comes standard with:

• Fully galvanized
• Church chairs along all sides
• Galvanized floor
• Bottom sledge

Up to 16 feeding stations – Optional trap gates
This model is – as standard equipped with 3 church chairs at each end, and 5 church chairs on each long sides. This gives you a large cattle feeder with 16 feeding places.

If you need to trap your cattle, the model can be equipped with 1×4 or 1×5-animals trap gates on both long sides, as well as 1×2-animals trap gates on each end, as you wish. We recommend 1×5–animals trap gates for dairy cattle and calves, and you have the option of 1×2-trap gates on one or both ends, as you wish. We recommend 1×4–animals trap gates for beef cattle. All trap gates come with an adjustable bar at each neck opening.

Fodder refill options – Choose the best solution for you
You have a number of options for refilling the feeder, depending of what equipment the model has:

From the Top 
Refill the feeder from the top. If your model has a pointed roof, you can flip the roof to one side before refill.

Trap gates
When ordering our standard trap gate, it comes as standard with a gate in one side you can open.

Church chairs
If you want church chairs on all sides, we recommend you to order one side with a church chair gate, or simply one large gate you can open at the rear end.
